Michelle Williams is 'fashionably glamorous'
Michelle Williams' hairstylist has described the star as "fashionably glamorous".
Celebrity hair pro Chris McMillan claims that most actresses can't be attributed both of the desirable qualities, but the My Week with Marilyn star balances them perfectly.
Commenting on the blonde bombshell's bright Oscar gown, the beauty expert has also revealed how he altered Michelle's look to work with the stunning Louis Vuitton frock.
"Ladies in Hollywood are either fashionable or glamorous," he told Style.com. "[But] Michelle is fashionably glamorous."
The Hollywood star had lightened her honey blonde hue to an icier, flaxen shade to compliment her coral-coloured dress. Chris revealed the first thing he did to style Michelle's pixie crop was to massage Couture Colour's Pequi Oil into her damp hair.
"I am often afraid of oils on blondes," he said, explaining that it can darken the shade ever so slightly.
But Chris insisted that this particular product won't alter the colour. He then used volumising mousse to create the desired texture.
Make-up artist Angela Levin finished Michelle's elegant look with a bold red lip.
The beauty professional mixed two lipstick shades to create a perfect match for the Oscar nominee's gown.
She layered Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in Paradis, a pink coral, and Destinee, a light plum to achieve the right colour to flatter the frock.
