Michelle Williams' stylist says one of her favourite looks on the actress was a dress from H&M.

Kate Young works with the My Week with Marilyn star as well as the likes of Natalie Portman and Diane Kruger, often selecting stunning dresses for their red carpet appearances.

Despite often picking creations by the hottest names in fashion, Kate revealed to graziadaily.co.uk that one of her favourite looks comes from the Swedish high street store.

The stylist picked out several of her fashion highlights for the website and among them was the monochrome dress Michelle wore to the Orange British Academy Film Awards in February.

The bespoke H&M gown may not be from a luxury fashion house, but certainly didn't look out of place at the posh event thanks to its perfect fit and black flower detail.

Despite sticking to black and white, the 32-year-old managed to keep the look exciting by adding a slick of red lipstick and sporting her trademark blonde crop.

For a quirky touch of fun, Michelle carried an Olympia Le-Tan clutch bag, styled to look like a classic Arthur Miller book.

Among her clients' favourite looks, Kate also picked out a picture of Natalie Portman in Lanvin at the Golden Globe Awards in January.

It's easy to see why, as Natalie looked stunning in the fuchsia gown, complete with voluminous ruffles.

With the awards season fast approaching at the start of next year, there's no doubt Kate will already be prepping her famous clients for the Oscars and Golden Globes.
