Miley Cyrus 'to avoid elaborate gowns'
Miley Cyrus has reportedly vowed to stop wearing dresses with trains to industry events.
The 19-year-old star wore a stunning silver Roberto Cavalli gown to the Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday night. The dress boasted long sleeves and satin panelling, as well as a flowing chiffon skirt.
Although Miley looked like a classic Hollywood beauty having paired the outfit with a slick of red lipstick and curled blonde hair, she was overheard moaning about the look.
"It's the last year of the f**king train," New York Daily News claims she said.
Miley was thought to be upset as so many people kept stepping on her dress.
She wasn't the only one whose gown choice caused problems. Katie Holmes opted for a long, midnight blue beaded dress and her husband Tom Cruise was spotted ensuring other guests didn't tread on it.
Leslie Mann's strapless black dress with sequin detailing didn't last the night. It included a long train which pooled around her feet, and by the time she'd got from the Academy Awards to the Vanity Fair bash it had been ripped at the hip and hem.
"The Train. It's a commitment - especially at this party," Leslie's husband Judd Apatow joked to the site.
Other guests at the party included Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Claire Danes and Jonah Hill.
