Miley Cyrus working with Jeremy Scott
Jeremy Scott and Miley Cyrus are "brewing something up" together.
The 21-year-old singer has outraged and dazzled in different outfits over the last year, most recently toning down in a black leather Alexandre Vauthier Couture bandeau and matching trousers at the MTV VMAs at the weekend. One man who seems to be interested in Miley's style is Moschino's creative director Jeremy, who also attended the bash on Sunday night. Speaking to reporters on the red carpet, the fashion designer revealed the pair have joined forces.
“I’m always working with people. I just did something for Katy [Perry's] tour that she’s on right now, Miley as well. And Miley and I have something very exciting that we are brewing up for the future," he hinted. "I am going to let her announce it... I love working with musicians, to me it’s such a joy. I love the performers, I love the music, so it’s always exciting to kind of help them propel their image even further with my designs.”
On top of this apparent collaboration, Scott is currently working on his eponymous Spring/Summer 15 show for New York Fashion Week next month. He explained how he is aiming to capture the look of "very cool kids" with the upcoming collection.
Scott may have scored by working with Miley, but it's someone close to her who he is desperate to join forces with - Dolly Parton.
“I might need to talk to Miley about that because she is her god-aunt,” he laughed.
This wouldn't be the first time Miley has dipped her toe into working with high-end labels. Earlier this year she was unveiled as the face of Marc Jacobs and posed for the brand's Spring 14 campaign on a dark sandy beach in pieces such as a navy jacket.
