Miley's blonde brows

Miley Cyrus and Miranda Kerr

Miley Cyrus has bleached her eyebrows to match her bright blonde hair.

The star has decided to match her brows to her famous short blonde locks.

Her drastic change in appearance was unveiled in a photograph with Miranda Kerr on Instagram.

Miley and the Australian model posed for an intimate picture together taken by photographer Mert Alas last night.

Miranda wrote an endearing caption to the snap, but didn't mention the 20-year-old star's new look.

"Shot by the master mertalas with the gorgeous @mileycyrus (sic)" she wrote.

Miley then posted the picture onto her own account, along with another photo with Mert.

In the second snap she is seen putting on her iconic tongue-wagging pose next to the camera expert.

"Lets burn in hell" @mertalas (sic)" she quipped.

She also pulled the same face in a picture with British singer-songwriter Lily Allen.

Miley's striking exterior was first made popular by fashion house Yves Saint Laurent. During their Spring/Summer 12 shows make-up artist Pat McGrath bleached the models' eyebrows and put more emphasis on their lips.

Miley recently admitted she believes sexiness is about more than just physical appearance, which may explain her bold move.

"Sexiness is about how you feel and act," she explained to the latest UK edition of Cosmopolitan.

"I do believe there is such a thing as star power, like a charisma and an energy that comes from someone that you don't even find physically attractive, and that can have a sexiness."
