Miranda Lambert wows in metallic at the Academy of Country Music Awards

Miranda Lambert impressed in a floor-sweeping gold gown at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards last night.

The songstress looked stunning in a show-stopping metallic dress that showed off her curves to perfection.

Miranda - who picked up Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year at the ceremony - wore her blonde locks in loose waves and kept her jewellery to a minimum with a simple gold bangle and matching gold drop earrings.

Taylor Swift also wowed in a structured white gown by J Mendel. The dress boasted gold detailing and cut-out sides, and a small train for added effect.

The 22-year-old country singer - who won the coveted Entertainer of the Year prize at the ceremony - teamed the frock with sultry smoky make-up.

Taylor kept her tresses simply styled in long loose waves.

Carrie Underwood looked gorgeous in an embellished cream dress by Abed Mahfouz. The gown boasted a train and a daring thigh-high split that showed off the beauty's enviable pins.

LeAnn Rimes flaunted her svelte figure in a red and white patterned Stella McCartney dress. The 29-year-old star accentuated her toned legs with a pair of sky high sandals.

The singer was joined by husband Eddie Cibrian on the red carpet, and the pair were photographed cuddling and kissing in an amorous display.

Hollywood beauty Nicole Kidman was at the ceremony to support her husband Keith Urban. The pair both donned black, with Nicole accessorising her sheer panelled dress with a cute black clutch bag with strappy red sandals.

Marc Anthony arrived with his girlfriend Shannon De Lima, who was dressed in a flowing yellow dress. The star looked dapper in a dark suit with a white shirt that was unbuttoned.
