Mischa Barton makes a mark in monochrome
Mischa Barton, Drew Barrymore and Kelly Rowland all showed off their style credentials at Safe Kids Day 2016 in Los Angeles on Sunday (24Apr16).
Actress Mischa Barton worked her monochrome magic at the Safe Kids Day 2016 on Sunday (24Apr16).
The American star truly glowed while posing for the cameras on the makeshift grass carpet in Los Angeles, rocking a white mini dress with a low-cut neck and black detailing. In her hand was a chunky black bag, while her pointed black pumps added to the monochrome vibe too.
Keeping her look simple, Mischa shunned jewellery and opted for smoky eyeshadow to frame her peepers and a blush lipstick for a spot of colour.
Clearly knowing she looked sensational, the actress gave credit to those behind her tumbling blonde hair and make-up.
"Earlier@safekidsworldwide #SafeKidsDay Glad to have joined & Thank you for the Glam@lemodehair @gopriv," she wrote on Instagram, complete with a heart emoji.
And it seems Mischa had fun at the bash, also sharing a photo of herself pouting with a penguin alongside the caption: "Made a friend today@safekidsworldwide #SafeKidsDay @smashboxstudios".
Thanks to her participating in Dancing with the Stars, Mischa's figure was in fantastic form too, with evident muscles on her upper arms.
Also at the event was Drew Barrymore, who cut a more casual figure on the green carpet. She wore a pair of blue denim jeans and black shoes, with a black T-shirt and grey blazer completing the outfit. But one thing stood out - tattoos of her kids Olive and Frankie's names on her right wrist.
Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland followed with her laidback ensemble, comprised of a pale blue collared short-sleeved shirt with a tie at the bottom and white ripped jeans, with white sneakers to finish. She accessorised with a series of fun jewellery pieces, such as a bright green bangle, several sparkling rings and a shimmering star necklace.
Kelly had her tot Titan in tow, who looked adorable in a white Ralph Lauren Polo shirt, white shorts and beaded necklace.
Safe Kids Worldwide is a cause dedicated to protecting children from unintentional injuries, and the annual awareness day helps advise people on how to keep kids out of harm's way.
