Molly Sims: 'I love a good sweat session'
Molly Sims is obsessed with making her own dressings as part of her healthy diet.
Actress and model Molly Sims is at her strongest and most confident after a gruelling circuit training session.
The 42-year-old welcomed her second child, daughter Scarlett, earlier this year (15) and her body is already back in impressive shape. Molly puts it down to hard work and in particular, high intensity workout sessions with her personal trainer.
"Circuit training," she told StyleCaster when asked about her favourite form of exercise. "My trainer Nicole Humphries from Body By Simone got me into it, and it always makes me feel my strongest and most confident. My trainer at Tracy Anderson Method, Maddie James, also does a lot of circuit training with me.
"High-intensity and circuit-training workouts will literally kick your butt into gear and really, really work. I love the glow of my skin after I have a good sweat session."
As well as her intense exercise regime, Molly tries to come up with new and exciting healthy recipes that the whole family can enjoy. In addition to Scarlett, Molly also has three-year-old son Brooks with husband Scott Stuber and the star enjoys cooking for her loved ones.
"My signature healthy dish is turkey tacos," she continued. "If I'm ever feeling uninspired in the kitchen, this is always my go-to recipe for my family. It's healthy and easy after a chaotic workday. I have a lot of what I like to call my kitchen staples. I try to make recipes as healthy as possible, and that means I substitute ingredients a lot.
"You'll always find coconut sugar, pink Himalayan salt, and Trocomare (a salt infused with organic herbs and vegetables) in my kitchen. I've been super into making my own dressings and whipped up a great jalapeño vinaigrette that I've been putting on everything."
As a busy mum-of-two, Molly also has to make sure she has healthy snacks with her wherever she goes and her favourite is almonds.
"They keep me full and energised throughout my day," she said.
