Amy Schumer's sense of security gives her red carpet confidence, says Narciso Rodriguez.

The blonde star has become a force to be reckoned with in comedy, and her latest movie Trainwreck has meant endless promotion and red carpet appearances.

Amy has been stunning in a series of Narciso's dresses, and the celebrated designer really enjoyed collaborating with her.

“I’ve never shied away from curves, so it’s not really a departure from my client list. I don’t really ever stop to think about who I dress and who I don’t dress. I think it’s important to dress all women," Narciso smiled to

"She reacted well to so many of the things that I presented to her. It was a really nice process."

For the Trainwreck screening held earlier this month in Akron, America, Amy wowed in a figure hugging orange dress that fell to just below the knee.

She oozed confidence as she posed on the red carpet, her blonde hair swept over one shoulder and her make-up kept natural.

“I think [her confidence] comes with a great comfort level with herself and a sense of security. You know, my mission is just to create a frame for her personality. If you make something for someone and they feel good in it, I think that’s what’s most important. Then they feel good and that’s what comes across.

“She really liked a stretch-leather dress that I made her, and I really enjoyed watching her model it in the fittings. So I guess [my favourite] would have to be that because she really appreciated it and she felt great in it, and that always makes me feel good," he said of the black dress she wore for an appearance on Live! with Kelly & Michael.
