Nicola Peltz: Exploring make-up is fun

Nicola Peltz loved exploring her mother’s beauty products growing up.

The Transformers: Age of Extinction actress is only 19-years-old. So while she probably doesn’t have to worry about anti-ageing products just yet, she does have to look after her skin for her career, although she has mixed feelings about some of the products she uses.

“I use a lot of natural products. I'm not crazy about the natural thing though,” she revealed to the Violet Grey website. “My mom has this beautiful bathroom with a million products and growing up it was so much fun to explore everything. I guess the two things I am obsessed with right now are Bioderma Sensibio H2O makeup remover and Lucas Papaw Ointment.”

Nicola was interviewed for the website by former Transformers star and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The British star asked Nicola whether, like her, she finds make up to be a type of armour she can put on to face the world.

“Yes. I've done projects where I didn't feel like the makeup team had my back and it made me feel uncomfortable and vulnerable,” Nicola admitted. “But if you have people around you whom you trust, like Robbin [Kujus] who did Transformers, it makes a huge difference.”

Her closeness to the Transformers team will come in handy when she begins the international press tour to promote the movie. Having only just started out in her acting career, Nicola is excited to hit the red carpet in all her finery.

“It's fun to come together with people who you've worked with for six months and watch the movie together and get all dressed up,” she said.
