Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley and Priyanka Chopra are set to receive awards at an intimate dinner on 24 October (16).

Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley are set to be honoured at the InStyle Awards in October (16).

The Moulin Rouge! actress will be feted with the Style Icon Award and Shailene is set to receive the Advocate Award at the second annual awards ceremony held by the fashion magazine to celebrate designers, make-up artists and stylish stars, among others.

Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra has been named the recipient of Breakthrough Style Star prize, while Tom Ford will pick up the Designer award and singer Leon Bridges will receive the Man of Style accolade.

"InStyle represents the confluence of fashion and the red carpet. At the InStyle Awards, we recognize the impact these two worlds have on each other," Laura Brown, InStyle Editor-in-Chief, said in a statement. "Inspired by our annual 'Hollywood's 50 Best Dressed' list, the awards spotlight the power of fashion and celebrity, as well as that of stylists. I'm thrilled to be joining InStyle at such an exciting time, and to host our signature event."

Stylist Leslie Fremar, whose clients have included Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore and Charlize Theron, will also receive a prize, as will make-up artist Sir John, who has worked with Beyonce and Karlie Kloss, and hairstylist Danilo, who is good friends with clients such as Gwen Stefani.

The prize giving will take place during an intimate dinner on 24 October (16) at the Getty Center in Los Angeles.

That's not the only prize Shailene is set to receive in October (16) - it was recently announced she will be feted with the Female EMA Futures Award by the Environmental Media Association for her activism on climate change and other social and environmental issues. She was notably an oustpoken supporter for Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders and joined protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline, which threatens to damage Native American land.

"This EMA Futures Award shows me that there are millions of us who have been and are ready to stand up in the face of adversity and honor the home that has offered us the lives we know," she said in a statement.

Shailene will accept the gong at an event on 22 October (16).
