Nicole Scherzinger for Proactiv

Nicole Scherzinger is the spokesperson for Proactiv's new blemish system.

The skincare brand has been helping people with acne for years and has a lot of A-list support from the likes of Adam Levine, Julianne Hough and Naya Rivera.

Now the former Pussycat Doll has jumped on board to promote their latest product with her glowing complexion.

"We're delighted to announce beautiful @NicoleScherzy is spokesperson for our NEW anti-blemish system, Proactiv+ (sic)," the brand posted on Twitter, with Nicole promptly retweeting the message.

It might be surprising to see some of the world's most beautiful promoting a product for problem skin. However, Maroon 5's Adam recently spoke out about the importance of letting fans know he's just like them.

"I had horrible cystic acne all over my face when I was 14 years old," he shared with latimes.com.

"If I was one of these people who've done [a Proactiv commercial] who'd never had a zit in their life - where they had to paint one on their face - I wouldn't have done it. It wouldn't have made any sense."

Nicole, 36, is having a great month. She's also on the cover of the latest British edition of InStyle magazine. For the shoot she embraced an edgy look, wearing colour-block clothes and bright make-up.

The singer recently addressed her positive outlook on ageing.

"I do embrace getting older and, right now, I feel like a fine wine maturing," she laughed to British magazine Closer. "And I'm grateful for my genetics because I feel I have a good skin tone and look good for my age.

"That said; you never know what the future holds, surgery wise. Never say never. But for now, I may be getting older, but, honey, I look good under bright lights!"
