Nina Dobrev is creative with clothes

Nina Dobrev finds the world of fashion a fascinating way to experiment with her creativity.

The Vampire Diaries star loves getting dressed up for red carpet events.

Nina is a fan of high street stores to get her fashion fix, naming British import Topshop as her new favourite shopping destination.

"I absolutely love it [fashion]!" she exclaimed to Company magazine. "It's so much fun to go to the events - pick out designer dresses, shoes and jewellery. It's a whole creative outlet. I love Topshop. The fact there's one in LA is awesome for us."

Nina says her summer style staple this year will be a pair of designer wedges. She joked that now she's had a taste of designer footwear she is obsessed.

"For some reason, I seem to own a lot of wedges. I also just got my first pair of Isabel Marant wedge trainers. They're little black ones, I'm hooked," Nina laughed.

"Er... Isabel Marant! Everything she does. New York City is my favourite place in the world to shop. You can go from store to store and have so many options."

Nina describes her style as being low maintenance. She likes to rock a look that's understated and comfortable rather than the usual glossy LA girl appearance.

"I have a hippy Venice Beach vibe," she finished.

"I'm not officially a vegan, but I mainly eat vegan food."

Nina has spoken before about exercise and her love for yoga. She likes to be fit and healthy, but dislikes Hollywood's obsession with thin women.

"Yoga changed my body 100 per cent. It tones everything and leans you out. Dancer's pose is amazing. It works every muscle! And you have to focus. If your mind is somewhere else, you'll fall," Nina revealed to SELF magazine previously.

"Starving to be skinny isn't my thing. When I don't eat, it affects my mood! On-set, I fuel up with small meals and I'm always grabbing high-protein snacks, like almonds. Chai lattes with espresso also keep me going."
