Olivia Munn loves her thick Chinese hair

Olivia Munn has a low-key haircare regime.

The 33-year-old American actress always looks immaculate on the red carpet and recently rocked sleek curls at a screening of her new film, Deliver Us from Evil, in New York.

It might look like she spends hours in hair and make-up, but The Newsroom star insists she does very little when it comes to maintaining her locks.

“I’m Chinese so I have thick hair, which I don’t brush, and use different products," the star - whose mother is Chinese and father is German-Irish - told New York Post's Page Six.

The fashion-conscious beauty added that she's a big fan of vintage shopping. When it comes to jewellery, she relies on loans.

“[I'm wearing] Fred Leighton. Borrowed. They’ll rip it off before I fly back to LA," she deadpanned.

To complement the classy jewels, Olivia wore a strapless Vionnet dress at the screening.

It showed off her toned arms and shoulders, which she achieves purely by exercising.

“I don’t diet. I eat plenty. Lunch was chicken marsala, miso soup, spare ribs. I send up Korean and Indian room service," she admitted.

"To combat my OCD, a trainer helps me work out every day, 6 am. I don’t know what he does, but it helps. We talked over the weekend."

Olivia works with stylist Micaela Erlanger to pick her outfits for big events. She recently revealed how much she likes having the professional's help.

"Working with Micaela is like getting dressed with one of your best friends, who just happens to have all of the most amazing new designer clothes," Olivia laughed.

"She's really collaborative. She also has the best eyes for putting a whole look together."
