Olivia Wilde and Emma Stone join Revlon

Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde have been named as the new global brand ambassadors for Revlon.

As the news faces of the make-up giant, the Hollywood beauties will appear in a range of TV, print, in-store and digital ad campaigns. The pair will appear in the ads which are scheduled for an early 2012 release, and will tie in with a new colour cosmetics line and new nail enamel products.

Emma, who is famed for her fiery red tresses and is regularly hailed as one of Hollywood’s brightest new talents, is excited to be the face of a make-up brand that reminds her of her childhood.

“Revlon recognises that every woman is multifaceted and magnificent in their own way and the expression of individuality is as important to Revlon as it is to me,” she said in a statement.

“I have been familiar with Revlon for as long as I can remember. I vividly recall my mom wearing Revlon make-up and I remember getting to the age when I was finally able to wear Revlon myself.”

Olivia is excited to join a cosmetics brand that has “big ideas”. The stunning star, who is known for her philanthropic work, is proud of the work Revlon does.

“I have always admired Revlon and their commitment to giving women the confidence and tools they need to feel beautiful, both inside and out,” she said.

“Creatively, Revlon has never been afraid to push the envelope, which is important to me. I also love that they use their tremendous recognisability around the world to do good as one of the industry’s biggest champions of women’s health. It’s exciting to join a company with a big heart and big ideas!”

Emma and Olivia will also participate in Revlon’s fundraising efforts. The brand has raised more than $65 million for women’s cancer research in the past ten years.
