Olivia Wilde wows in red at 2017 Tony Awards
Olivia Wilde, Scarlett Johansson, Cynthia Erivo, and Cynthia Nixon all dazzled at the 2017 Tony Awards.
Olivia Wilde arrived in style at the 2017 Tony Awards on Sunday night (11Jun17).
The Tron: Legacy actress stepped out at the Broadway celebration held at Radio City Music Hall in New York, where she turned heads in a scarlet red Michael Kors Collection sequinned gown with plunging neckline, flowing sleeves and Grecian-style draped bodice.
Olivia, who is set to make her Broadway debut in the upcoming production of 1984, starring opposite Tom Sturridge and Reed Birney, completed her look with a gold Edie Parker clutch and jewellery from Tiffany & Co. The brunette beauty hit the red carpet with her actor fiance Jason Sudeikis, who wore a simple black tuxedo.
Scarlett Johansson also wore an outfit from Michael Kors Collection. The Ghost in the Shell star acted as a presenter at the star-studded bash, and looked gorgeous in a white belted jacket and matching skirt.
Sarah Paulson wore head to toe white as well, choosing an elegant white strapless lace Rodarte dress. The actress matched the gown with Irene Neuwirth jewels, Brian Atwood shoes, and a Judith Leiber clutch. While Broadway enthusiast Anna Kendrick amped up the glamour in a black Miu Miu dress with white floral print and a red bow at the waist. The Pitch Perfect actress had her hair slicked back into a bun, and complemented the look with Cartier bling.
Actress and comedienne Tina Fey rocked a black ensemble too, sporting a Sally LaPointe gown with feather detailing on the train and sheer panels throughout the bodice.
Yet Cynthia Erivo certainly was the winner when it came to the black dress stakes. The star, who performed in the latest Broadway revival of The Color Purple, dazzled in a Chris Gelinas gown covered in 8,000 Swarovski crystals, which she paired with Sophia Webster shoes and Fred Leighton jewellery.
Elsewhere, Cynthia Nixon went for a look which harked back to Old Hollywood glamour. The former Sex and the City star wore a strapless pale pink Rosie Assoulin dress with Fred Leighton jewels.
