Oprah Winfrey has increased the sales of American soap manufacturer Lafco after endorsing the brand as one of her "favourite things".
The US talk show host and media mogul released her annual list of the products she likes the most earlier this month.
Since the document was published Lafco sales have exploded, with the company reportedly nearly quadrupling their usual figures.
"[Have the sales of soap increased since the Oprah endorsement?] Holy hell, yes it has. It is our third time being chosen. We're busy as hell," a representative told TMZ. "We usually invoice 80-100 a day, and yesterday we had 431 invoices."
On her website, Oprah describes the luxury bathing item as being an ideal gift. With the Thanksgiving holiday sales and Christmas looming, Oprah's endorsement is the perfect thing to boost profits.
"This luxuriously oversize, deliciously scented soap is my new go-to gift. I even brought a set to Mr. and Mrs. Colbert when I interviewed Stephen for Next Chapter," Oprah gushed on her website.
The hugely popular TV personality has also rewarded other companies she likes the most with increased sales.
TMZ reports that the company which makes the Tusk Capri Checkbook Clutch have had ten times better sales than usual since Oprah raved about the item.
A wine chilling cork Oprah loves has also reported exceptional sales following her recommendation.
