Palermo's plans for own label

Olivia Palermo doesn't want to rush into starting her own fashion house.

The 28-year-old star made her name by appearing on reality TV show The City, although fashion has always been her main love. She has worked at Diane von Furstenberg and is famed for her preppy look, which has earned her an accessories line and shoe collaboration with Aquazzura. The star isn't stopping there, but also doesn't want to rush things.

"Our focus is to make an online magazine and to build our e-commerce component," she told Hello! Fashion Monthly magazine. "I'm really fortunate to work with a lot of younger brands and collaborate with them. At some point, I'd like to build a fashion house, but when the timing is right."

Olivia's personal life is also going from strength to strength, with the star marrying Johannes Huebl in June. He is a model, so the pair understand each other's careers well - and even swap fashion tips at times.

“Well, I wouldn’t say I full-on copy him, that would just be weird,” Olivia laughed. “On the small occasion that I do ask his opinion, he usually offers good advice.

“Sometimes, without realising it, [we co-ordinate]. Like, I was never really a fan of double denim, but I recently found a way to do it that I like and that was kind of inspired by him."

Olivia went for a non-traditional wedding outfit, which was designed by Carolina Herrera. It featured a cashmere sweater, shorts and a satin overlay skirt, with the star adamant she will don the separates again.

"You know, as a three-piece I think it's great to be able to wear it and enjoy it," she explained.
