Pamela Anderson is rumoured to be posing for a nude magazine shoot.

The blonde star has previously posed naked for American photographer and artist Sante D'Orazio, who is known for his sexy and provocative shots.

US newspaper the New York Post's Page Six reports Sante enjoyed dinner at the Big Apple's TAO Downtown restaurant last week, where he was seen showing pictures of what appeared to be Pamela in the nude. It is believed the photos are recent, as her hair was styled in her new pixie crop.

The publication reports Sante "took the latest set of pictures of Anderson after she ran the New York City Marathon" early last month. It is thought the shots will be used in an upcoming issue of Purple Fashion magazine, which is known for its revealing photos of female stars.

A big name to have appeared in the publication is Lindsay Lohan, who stripped down to her underwear for a racy shoot in 2010.

Lady Gaga has also appeared both naked and semi-naked in a previous issue of the magazine.

Pamela is no stranger to having her figure flaunted to the public.

After having made a name for herself in Baywatch's iconic red swimsuit, the 46-year-old beauty was the focus of Sante's exhibition Pam: American Icon in 2005. The display showed Pamela in an array on risqué poses, all of which were pulled without any or barely any clothes on.

Sante also has a book, Barely Private, documenting his candid shots from 1997 to 2008. The uncensored and provocative read has photos of Pamela along with other famous females such a Elizabeth Hurley, Diane Kruger, Angelina Jolie and Kate Moss.
