Pearl Lowe delighted with children's line

Pearl Lowe feels "proud" to be launching a range of children's clothing for Peacocks.

The singer-turned-fashion-designer has produced a collection of girl's party dresses for the high-street retailer, with her five-year-old daughter Betty modelling for her.

Pearl has previously enlisted the help of elder daughter Daisy to model her adult range for the store, but this time looked to her younger child for inspiration.

"I'm so proud to be introducing my first children's collection for Peacocks. Vintage is increasingly harder to find these days and I wanted to design a collection that celebrated traditional style, was affordable and perfect for little girl's parties," she explained to British newspaper The Daily Mail.

"Since she was two years old, Betty has been asking Daisy and I to keep our vintage dresses for her to wear when she's older, which is why I've interpreted her favourite elements for the high street."

The Betty collection comprises of four party dresses. They were designed by Pearl with a helping hand from Betty herself, who selected her favourite vintage dresses from her own wardrobe.

In the pictures, Betty models a cream lace dress and a red velvet frock. She also looks adorable in a satin-lined black lace number a white lace-collared red piece.

Pearl has designed seven collections for Peacocks.

This newest range will launch in selected Peacocks' stores and online on November 10.

They will be priced between £25 and £30, and will be available from ages two to eight.
