Poppy Delevingne admires Alexa Chung's sense of style and thinks she makes everything look desirable.

The British model, and big sister of Cara, is close pals with Alexa and thinks her friend can make absolutely anything look good.

To prove her theory, Poppy got the 30-year-old fashionista to try on her diamond to see how good it looked.

"Actually, everything she wears she makes desirable," Poppy explained to The Edit. "I told her to try my engagement ring on once and I fell in love with it even more seeing it on her finger."

The two beauties teamed up for a summery shoot for the Net-A-Porter magazine, wearing pieces by designers including Stella McCartney, Saint Laurent and Chloé.

Recalling how they first became friends, 27-year-old Poppy remembers it was Alexa's edgy fashion sense that drew her in.

"Chung and I first met in the Storm Model waiting area about ten years ago. I remember thinking she was very beautiful, almost cat-like, but definitely a bit of a bloke. She was wearing skinny jeans that I wanted/needed in my life immediately – a feeling I had no idea would resonate every time I saw her," she smiled.

They regularly holiday together, and have been to Las Vegas, Shanghai and countless music festivals.

"And I’ll tell you what else is great about going away with her: she really makes you up your wardrobe game. Me, I always pack to excess. I’ll bring a suitcase the size of a dining table and still wear the same jeans, Converse and hideous sweater I’ve owned since I was 13.

"She, on the other hand, will bring a suitcase the size of a piece of calamari and yet each day she’ll wear something mouth-wateringly stylish," she gushed.
