Rihanna admires how Madonna constantly "switches up" her look.

The 24-year-old songstress is famed for experimenting with her style. Rihanna takes inspiration from Madonna, who always reinvents her signature look.

"I loved Marilyn Monroe's timeless look. And I'm a big fan of Madonna - she switches it up, and that's what I like to do," she told British magazine Closer.

"I hate sticking with the same thing."

Rihanna also loves looking to British fashion for style ideas. The singer has revealed her favourite British designer.

"Stella McCartney - she's so much fun and so inspiring. I adore her, as well as Christopher Kane - he is the best!" she exclaimed.

Rihanna added that her fashion choices and music go hand-in-hand. The stunning star takes a chameleon-style approach to how she wears her tresses and applies her make-up.

"Absolutely, and I don't think of one without the other," she revealed. "My music determines the direction my style is going in. It's music, then fashion, hair and make-up."
