Rihanna for Puma?

Rihanna may be creating a range of sneakers and sportswear for Puma.

The 26-year-old singer is no stranger to the fashion industry, having sat front row during various Fashion Weeks and collaborated with the likes of British retailer River Island on a clothing line. And now she may be adding to her empire as New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column claims the sportswear giant is keen to get her onboard for a range of sneakers and garments.

“She is going to have her own coordinator to go to at Puma who only handles her, and they’ll have a junior coordinator helping them. The focus is shoes, but she will also be helping with pants and tops," a source explained.

It's thought the deal is worth over $1million and will stop Rihanna from wearing pieces by rival brands such as Adidas or Nike.

“She will have to slowly start to incorporate Puma into her wardrobe,” the insider added. “She will be wearing all Puma gear in shoots and out and about.

“The offer isn’t signed yet, but she is in 100 per cent and wants to do this."

Along with designing clothes, Rihanna has also stamped her name on the beauty world. She joined a long list of famous females in creating a range for cosmetics brand MAC.

Earlier this week she attended an event sponsored by MAC Aids Fund and she spoke about how proud she is to be a part of the company.

"I like to use my voice in very powerful ways and this was something close to my heart, so what better people to team up with when you want to get to the source of something like this than the MAC AIDS Fund," she said, rocking the brand's dark berry Rebel lipstick. "MAC is very hands on with this, and I really respect the way they donate their money to charity. You can't lose with someone like that, so I was very, very excited to team up with them."
