Rihanna stuns for Stance socks
Rihanna has unveiled her new seasonal sock collection for Stance, and showcases the designs in typically raunchy style.
The 27-year-old singer teamed up with the company once again to create a range of 15 styles, differing from crew socks to thigh high numbers.
The collection features a pastel colour palette and a theme of Baby Goth Punk.
Rihanna, who is also the Contributing Creative Director for Stance, also features in one of the advertising images for the range.
In the picture, Rihanna is seen wearing a pair of the thigh high newspaper print socks, with a PVC pair of gloves and corset.
She posted the shot on Instagram, and wrote: “Thank you @stancemuse for the opportunity to create my first #RihannaXStance collection. Get the new fall collection NOW at stance.com/rihanna.”
The other images for the campaign, which Rihanna oversaw and directed, feature stunning models in the socks.
"This collection and campaign give people a peek into all sides of her personality, from the novelty of the toe socks to the hard edge of the punk prints. I think the creative really showcases what fashion is to her. It's meant to be bold, it's meant to be fun, and it's meant to be expressive," Candy Harris, Senior Vice President of the Women's Division at Stance, said in a statement.
Rihanna’s inaugural collection for Stance, entitled Murder Rih Wrote, debuted in July.
The new fall collection is available at Stance.com and at various retailers worldwide.
Another venture Rihanna will soon be unveiling is her much anticipated makeup line.
The singer confirmed rumours that she is set to launch her own range of cosmetics earlier this year, admitting she’s more than a little excited about the prospect.
“That is definitely something I am going to have my hands on and would love to do,” she told Refinery29 when asked about plans for the line. “It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do, but I’ve always had so much on my hands. But, this time, I’m going to make sure it happens. I’m going to find some time between albums and fragrance to do that. I promise.”
