Rita Ora’s debut campaign for Superga shows her rocking “comfort with glamour” as she showcases the footwear brand’s new line.
The singer stars in the new campaign for sneaker brand Superga’s Spring/Summer 13 line.
In a behind-the-scenes video on the set of her shoot, Rita explained why she is a fan of their footwear.
“I’ve always been into fashion and into colours. I like mixing comfortable with glamour, it’s always been my thing,” Rita told ElleUk.com. “Being the face of Superga is a very, very cool thing, I think it’s awesome it’s such a great brand and it kind of represents my personality. It's very chilled out, it's very chilled back and it's very comfortable. Everyone knows I love to be comfortable.”
Rita was announced as the new face of Superga in November last year. In the sneak peek at her debut adverts for the brand, Rita sports big blonde bouncy curls, a leopard print mini-dress with spaghetti straps and her trademark red lips while modelling the latest line of casual footwear.
“It goes with a lot of things,” she continued about Superga’s sneaker style. “It’s like someone just got out of a hat a little blueprint of my wardrobe. I’m really happy about it.”
Rita has previously spoken about her image consultant and close friend Kyle De’volle.
In the behind-the-scenes film, Kyle tells more about how Rita’s individual look is crafted.
“She has a scrap book she puts looks together in and I have one too. Then we sit down and go through the ideas together until we’ve agreed on an image,” Kyle explained. “We usually meet in the middle about the look we want for her, and then for a month or so this is the look we want her to be perceived as. It’s input on her part and mine.”
The 22-year-old pop princess performed at the Etam Fall/Winter 13 lingerie catwalk show as part of Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.
Rita donned a red lacy thigh-bearing Pucci dress for her show-stopping performance. The confident dresser teamed the racy mini with Jimmy Choo gladiator-style boots, laced up her calves to her knee.
