Rita Ora looks terrific in turquoise at the British Fashion Awards
Rita Ora channelled mermaid chic at the British Fashion Awards last night.
The 22-year-old dazzled in a turquoise Vivienne Westwood dress at The Savoy hotel in London.
The gorgeous gown shimmered with silver detail and tapered out into a small fishtail train at the back.
Intricate ruching and a strapless design kept the look feminine, elegant and quite different from her usual urban style.
To add a touch of Hollywood glamour, the Shine Ya Light singer sported tousled waves and smoky eye make-up, teamed with on-trend nude lips.
Rita was joined on the red carpet by Cara Delevingne, who scooped the award for Model of the Year at the bash.
Cara opted for a futuristic look, which consisted of a metallic green mini dress by Burberry, teamed with sky-high silver wedges.
The beauty kept her acceptance speech short and sweet, based on some advice she had once been given.
"A wise man once told me that a good acceptance speech should be under 60 seconds so I'll keep this short," she addressed her audience.
Stella McCartney took the coveted Designer of the Year and Designer Brand of the Year awards home with her, with many celebrities in attendance proving just why she deserved the title.
Salma Hayek was one famous face who endorsed the fashion mogul's designs, by sporting a black tasselled number by Stella.
Actress Gemma Arterton and British Olympic athlete Victoria Pendleton also showed off designs by Sir Paul McCartney's talented daughter.
