Rita Ora shoots DKNY campaign
Rita Ora took part in a photoshoot for DKNY in New York’s Times Square on Tuesday.
The British singer looked stunning as she posed in New York City's Times Square for the fashion house’s Resort 2014 collection. Wearing her signature red lipstick and eyeliner, Rita smouldered in a black dress and mesh jacket. She was seen walking along a busy street, then stepping out onto the road, before hailing one of New York’s iconic yellow taxis.
Rita also posed inside one of the cabs, where she leaned out of the window and pouted while wearing black sunglasses and holding a bright blue handbag.
In a photograph posted on PopSugar, Rita swaps elegant black for a more laidback brightly coloured outfit. She sits atop a yellow taxi wearing a yellow scarf, purple high tops, black baseball cap, long pink skirt and loosely fitted purple jumper. In the shot she is surrounded by a series of vibrantly coloured DKNY shopping bags and Times Square can be seen in the background.
Before the shoot on Tuesday, Rita took to Twitter to express her excitement about the day ahead.
“Good morning. Hitting the gym then we do a HUGE photoshoot in the middle of Times Square! Come and say hi! 12pm! It's going down!! (sic)” she wrote.
On Monday, DKNY tweeted about Rita’s upcoming photoshoot.
“So guess who we're shooting tomorrow for the #DKNY Resort ad campaign?! Ok, I'll tell you, @RitaOra!! I'll be on set. Stay tuned for pics, (sic)” read the post.
Rita performed for DKNY at a party in London last month. She was joined on stage at the event by her friend, model Cara Delevingne – who has also worked for the company.
DKNY isn’t the only brand who has snapped Rita up.
The 22-year-old was recently unveiled as the face of Material Girl, Madonna’s label with her teenage daughter Lourdes
Images of Rita modelling the new collection were unveiled earlier this month and saw her wearing a summer dress on board a double decker bus.
