Celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson claims he works out with Rob Kardashian all the time.

The 28-year-old reality star has struggled with his weight for years, with rumours suggesting he gained around 100lbs in about 12 months time.

And even though speculation is rife Rob is quite a lazy man who despises fitness efforts, Gunnar claims the sock designer consistently exercises at the gym.

"Rob is always in!" the fitness expert told People. "He's slammed schedule-wise and still makes this work."

A source informed the outlet earlier this year Rob became “depressed and just a bit off in general" after gaining a significant amount of weight.

But Gunnar doesn’t think his client is hurting that much.

"Never worry about Rob," the exercise guru said.

Rob has previously spoken about why he finds being overweight restrictive.

The star shuts down certain activities because of his size.

“I'm also trying to lose weight so I can't go too crazy [with shopping], because I know I'm going to end up buying a bunch of stuff and I don't want to waste money,” he told Racked. “I'm the most casual guy ever, though. I wear sweats most of the time.”

Rob has also missed out on important family affairs due to embarrassment over his appearance.

He did not attend his sister Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kanye West in 2014 and he also skipped out on a family vacation to Thailand.

“I’m so insecure with my weight I don’t want to go anywhere,” Rob said during a previous episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
