Romeo Beckham reportedly "stole the show" while making the new Burberry advertising campaign.
The ten-year-old son of Victoria Beckham and her soccer star husband David has been tapped by the British design house to front their spring/summer 2013 collection.
Burberry's creative director Christopher Bailey has revealed what Romeo was like to work with and why he was the perfect choice to represent the brand's clothing line.
"[Romeo] was a joy to work with and really stole the show," Christopher revealed in a statement about their new signing.
For his debut into the modelling industry Romeo was shot by top fashion photographer Mario Testino. He also appears alongside stylish stars including Cara Delevingne, having lots of fun, dressed in a classic Burberry trench coat.
"This season's campaign lights up with the infectious energy of an amazing young cast of old and new Burberry family," Christopher explained. "We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images, which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection."
The stylish youngster has previously been hailed a style icon by Chanel frontman Karl Lagerfeld, who met Romeo earlier this year.
"[He is] handsome, cute, polite," Karl gushed to Grazia Daily.
Romeo's father David, who himself has fronted campaigns for clothing labels H&M and Armani, has also discussed his middle child's fashion credentials previously.
"Brooklyn will just wear his soccer shirts and T-shirts, but Romeo is the fashion one, so he'll go for skinny jeans and a vintage T-shirt and funny hats," David told Grazia. "One Christmas he asked for a pair of Spats shoes."
Victoria, who has her own successful high-end fashion clothing line, first hinted at Romeo's trendsetter ways in 2010. Despite her son being only eight at the time, Victoria explained that she felt he will take over her design emporium one day in the future.
"I think that my middle son thinks that he is going to take over," Victoria revealed at the time. "Romeo likes to get involved. He likes to go out in a suit with a bowler hat… he's a real fashion lover."
