Rosamund: Vera Wang is best for new mums
Rosamund Pike felt honored to wear Vera Wang at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards.
The British actress wore a daring white gown by the designer at last night's Golden Globe Awards.
The dress, which is nearly backless apart from a few strings tying it up and features a low-cut front and cut-out details, has divided critics. However, Rosamund seemed happy with her choice when she chatted on the red carpet.
"Vera Wang. Everyone should go to Vera Wang right after you've had a baby," Rosamund smiled to Access Hollywood. "That's the answer. You're not allowed to work [out] until six months after the birth… so no working out, just running around after a three-year-old and a house with lots of stairs."
Rosamund gave birth to her and partner Robie Uniacke's second son on December 2 and despite not being able to exercise, showed off a slim physique yesterday.
Celebrated designer Vera jumped at the chance to work with the blonde actress, especially as she knew exactly how to work with her post-pregnancy figure.
"This is Vera Wang, who came to me and said, 'I know what to do with you right after you've had a baby, leave it to me,'" Rosamund smiled to Ryan Seacrest, adding that it was her first choice gown. "It's an amazing honour that we get to wear dresses like this."
As her dress was so eye-catching, Rosamund kept her jewellery and accessories simple, opting for Fred Leighton stud earrings and Brian Atwood sandals.
The 35-year-old's blonde hair was worn poker straight in a long bob, and she paired a nude lip with smoky eyes.
Rosamund was up for the best actress in a motion picture drama award for her role in Gone Girl but lost out to Julianne Moore's performance in Still Alice.
