Rumer Willis: I don't try to be fashionable

Rumer Willis doesn't try to look fashionable "all the time".

The actress is famed for her edgy aesthetic and alternative style choices. Rumer - who insists she's "not up on" the latest trends - says her fashion is ever-evolving.

"One day I will walk out of the house in a dress and a pair of cowboy boots, the next day I'll have a pair of black jeans and a vintage T-shirt," she told People. "[My style] changes I'm not trying to look fashionable all the time."

Rumer was speaking at the world premiere of Sir Paul McCartney's My Valentine video at the Stella McCartney store in West Hollywood. The 23-year-old donned a long dress by the designer, and explained her reasoning behind the choice.

"I just thought it was kind of funky and different," she said, before revealing she's looking to find long skirts and dresses to wear.

"I found this website called Bona Drag that I'm a huge fan of - it's kind of funky but they have a lot of long dresses and different kinds of things you wouldn't necessarily find everywhere."

Rumer has revealed the trend she is going to avoid this season. The star says she's happy with her hair look though.

"I don't know about neon. I'm probably too pale to rock neon," she laughed before adding about her red tresses: "I think I've finally settled into something that I like a lot. I love being a redhead. It's really fun!"

Rumer attended the event over the weekend amongst a host of stars including Gwen Stefani and Miranda Kerr. Gwen looked bang on-trend in her Stella McCartney trouser suit, which boasted daring sheer panels, while Miranda showed off her svelte figure in a black mesh-panelled mini dress.
