Selena Gomez: I’m a massive Adriana Lima fan

Selena Gomez’s inspiration for her Victoria’s Secret fashion show on Tuesday night (11Nov15) was model Adriana Lima.

Selena Gomez opted for ice blue contact lenses at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in a bid to make herself more like Adriana Lima.

The 23 year old singer, who has brown eyes, wowed fans on Tuesday night (11Nov15) when she switched up her usual look with a pair of bright lenses.

While the adjustment was minor, it had a dramatic effect on Selena’s entire appearance. Revealing the reasons behind her makeover, Selena admitted she was trying to channel the beauty of one of the show’s models.

"I was inspired by Adriana Lima!" Selena told E! News. "I'm a huge fan of hers and I geeked out in front of her today. I wanted to feel like a Victoria's Secret Angel."

Selena was her usual glamorous self as she walked the red carpet at the star-studded event, showing off her slender figure in a custom Louis Vuitton black leather dress. The garment featured a thigh-high split as well as a low neckline which showed off her impressive cleavage.

She teamed the ensemble with sultry make-up and bouncy curls in her hair.

Clearly delighted with her finished look, Selena tweeted: “Thank you @nicolasghesquiere @louisvuitton for my custom dress tonight. Felt like a true VS angel.”

Switching things up as she took to the stage to perform at the show, Selena changed into a low cut Jolibe Atelier gown and Saint Laurent ankle boots, with a diamond choker to add some extra glitz and glamour.

For the final red carpet appearance of the evening, Selena opted for an incredibly daring navy blue Mugler minidress.

The barely there outfit consisted of diamonds sewn together, giving tantalising hints of Selena’s skin beneath.

Selena wasn’t the only star to perform at the highly anticipated annual show as British singer Ellie Goulding also wowed the audience, while The Weeknd appeared in awe by the stunning models as he performed.
