Sharapova: Fashion is so versatile
Maria Sharapova finds fashion appealing because it gives people the opportunity to show off their personal flair.
(Cover) - EN Star Style - Maria Sharapova wowed in a figure-hugging knit dress at the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (06Oct15).
The 28-year-old athlete showed off her toned physique in a monochrome dress as she attended the highly-anticipated fashion presentation.
Maria topped off her outfit with a jaunty brown hat and belt and quirky black shoe boots.
The tennis player has been a regular fixture on the front rows during fashion week in the French capital this year (15).
And as she attended the show, Maria opened up about just what it is she loves about fashion.
“I think great style is about individuality and what works for you,” Maria told the New York Post. “I don’t think there’s a right or wrong in fashion — that’s what makes it so appealing.”
The fashion show featured an airline theme and saw models including Kendall Jenner showcase the latest designs as they walked the runway.
Other stars who made an appearance at the event include Cara Delevingne and her girlfriend St. Vincent in addition to Vanessa Paradis attending with her daughter Lily-Rose Depp.
“It was my first Chanel show, so it’s obviously very exciting for me,” Maria said after the show. “It was incredible to see something come together like that.”
Kris Jenner was also there to support daughter Kendall and the matriarch was accompanied by her boyfriend Corey Gamble.
Prior to the show, Kris admitted she was more than a little excited about watching Kendall strut her stuff.
“Getting ready to fly off to the Chanel Show to watch @kendalljenner on the runway!!!” Kris tweeted. “Good thing I was a flight attendant @chanelofficial @karllagerfeld #proudmama #soexcited #pfw2015.”
Kendall looked the ultimate professional as she walked down the runway in the latest designs from Karl Lagerfeld.
However, she did let her model persona slip slightly as she gave Cara a cheeky wave as her pal sat in the front row.
