Shay Mitchell rocks bombshell glam at iHeartRadio MMVAs
Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell has shown off new honey blonde tresses.
Shay Mitchell turned up the heat on the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs).
At the ceremony in Toronto, Canada, which was held on Sunday night (19Jun16), the actress turned heads in a low-cut black satin dress which was cut to the thigh on one side to show a hint of matching underwear.
The 29-year-old, who hails from Ontario, accessorised with a pair of towering black sandals and a glittering mini clutch, as well as a black and gold belt which cinched in her small waist. She also sported smoky eye make-up and bronze lipstick, but it was her honey blonde hair which really surprised fans. Worn in tousled waves, the normally raven haired beauty had gone for a temporary mane makeover with the help of her hairstylist Christopher Appleton. Shay took to Instagram to unveil her new look by posting a selfie showing off her blonde locks, which were apparently created through the addition of an assortment of golden toned hair pieces threaded through Shay's signature cascading waves.
"Trying to figure out if blondes really do have more fun... love my glam for today thanks to @patrickta & @chrisappleton1 styled by @bartolistyle," the star wrote on the social media website.
Shay's Pretty Little Liars co-stars went for it in the style department too on Sunday evening. Lucy Hale, 27, hit the red carpet in a strapless silver dress while Ashley Benson, 26, wore a slinky nightwear-inspired cream satin dress with a daring slit and taupe heeled sandals.
Elsewhere, model and MMVA host Gigi Hadid, 21, made a bold statement in a red flared trouser suit which she matched with sparkling diamond choker. She didn't shy away from vibrant hues in her make-up either, sporting bronze eyeshadow and scarlet lipstick.
Another model to grace the red carpet was Hailey Baldwin, who shimmered in a gold mini dress. The 19-year-old daughter of Stephen Baldwin wore her blonde locks in a pretty up 'do, but kept her make-up natural, with just a swipe of gold eye shimmer and a dusting of bronzer.
