Shay Mitchell has revealed what's inside her beauty bag.

The actress is now best known for her role as Emily Fields on hit teen show Pretty Little Liars but before that, her stunning looks earned her a job straight out of high school.

Heading off to Thailand with a friend was daunting, but something she'll never regret.

"It probably the biggest risk, because I had no idea what to expect..." she admitted on a YouTube Q&A session.

"It was really exciting; it was scary at some points, but I grew so much and I had to figure out things on my own without my mom and dad there."

She might be focusing on acting now, but those model looks remain. The 28-year-old let fans into her make-up bag by revealing her top beauty products.

"I'm actually very big on sunscreen and tinted moisturisers," she shared.

"There's a couple that I use; I love Tarte's BB cream and tinted moisturiser. Jouer also has a great tinted moisturiser, that's what I use on set and real life, I like to mix the two."

Shay added that using products such as these, with an SPF, are "easy breezy" and great for someone like her, who's always on the go.

So with her cool style and acting credentials, what could be up next for the star?

"I want to do a James Bond movie and be a Bond girl!" she grinned, before adding: "And/or Bond. I think there should be a woman Bond!"
