Sienna Miller leaves fashion label

Sienna Miller is leaving her fashion label Twenty8Twelve.

The actress has stepped down as co-creative director of the womenswear brand she created with sister Savannah.

Her sibling is also parting ways with the company.

The two sisters created the label with Pepe Group in 2007.

Twenty8Twelve will continue with its current design team, headed up by designers Vanessa James and Elsa Elphick.

Senior bosses are confident the sisters' departure won't harm the brand.

"After six years of working together to build an amazing brand, we part as friends," Pepe Group managing director Nish Soneji told WWD.

"Their departure may appear as quite a tremor, but as an organisation and as a team we're intact. We never intended to be a celebrity brand and we remain confident of our DNA."

The Miller sisters are looking forward to moving on from the brand.

"We've had a brilliant six years at Twenty8Twelve and are now looking forward to new pastures," they revealed.

"We wish the brand the best of luck for the future."

Sienna's departure means that the label will undergo a rebrand and be known as Twenty8Twelve London rather than Twenty8Twelve by S.Miller. The new look fashion line will be unveiled during London Fashion Week next month.
