Sienna Miller offers up her flea market skills
Sienna Miller doesn't feel like she has personal style, as she no longer spends time putting outfits together.
Sienna Miller has offered to share her flea market skills with anyone after some style advice.
The queen of boho has been the darling of fashion since she first became famous over a decade ago. Her love of laidback vintage pieces caught the eye of Swedish brand Lindex, who tapped the actress to appear in its Spring 16 campaign.
Sienna insists you don’t have to splash the cash to look stylish though, rather spend time hunting around second-hand stalls and shops.
“Have some really classic tailoring in your wardrobe and great basics. And then come to a flea market with me and we’ll buy some really unique accessories,” she smiled to Britain’s Stylist magazine about her top styling advice.
Despite her style star credentials and flea market knowledge, Sienna admits she’s no longer that bothered about fashion. The 34-year-old may still be lauded for her wardrobe choices, but since becoming a mother to three-year-old daughter Marlowe with ex-partner Tom Sturridge, worrying about clothes is the last thing on her priority list.
“I don’t feel like I have a personal style,” she shrugged. “Day-to-day I wear jeans and a T-shirt, maybe with nice shoes and a nice bag, and accessories I love. But I don’t have time to put stuff together the way I used to. When I was younger that was a really big part of my life, but with a more mature head, it doesn’t occupy my mind in the same way. When I go out, I’m much more tailored than I used to be.”
When it comes to her style icon, Sienna joins the likes of Florence Welch and Kate Moss with her ultimate fashion hero.
“David Bowie because he could morph into anything,” she said. “His freedom of expression was hugely inspiring.”
