Sienna: Street style excites me

Sienna Miller doesn't feel inspired when she sees clothing campaigns.

The American-born British actress has made a name for herself in the movie industry, most recently appearing in big hits Foxcatcher and American Sniper.

However, her sense of style is also a big talking point and she made a big impression in a plunging Miu Miu dress at the Golden Globes last weekend. It might look like she's all high-end, but the 33-year-old prefers to look at everyday clothing when updating her wardrobe.

"I always start with people I see out and about," she explained to German magazine Jolie when asked about her style inspiration. "I've always been excited by street style. I'm far more interested in a well-dressed passerby than I am in a big clothing campaign. I don't like it when everyone looks the same, like they are wearing a uniform. I've always tried to have a very individual style."

The blonde beauty welcomed her first daughter with fiancé Tom Sturridge, Marlowe, in July 2012. Despite both parents starring in a campaign for Burberry Prorsum recently, their fashionable appearance is an illusion.

"It's kind of tricky to wear nice things at the moment," Sienna laughed. "My daughter is currently spilling food on me, so the designer dresses will have to stay in the closet. My key trends at home are jeans and a T-shirt."

The star added that she can't understand how she's managed to become a style icon, but that she has huge fun playing around with clothing and expressing her mood via the things she wears.
