Stephanie Beacham: Avoid manic beauty routine
Stephanie Beacham insists you don't have to a "maniac" with your beauty regime to keep your youthful looks.
But the actress advised to get into a regular routine because from age 30 onwards it's all about "maintenance".
The star revealed the beauty tips she follows to keep her skin in top condition.
"My advice for maintaining a youthful look is make sure you always take off your make-up before you go to bed. When you get to 30, the maintenance needs to start. Moisturising your face, neck, knees and elbows everyday is really important," she told British magazine Closer. "You don't need to be a maniac about it, but it's good to get into a routine."
Stephanie also revealed her diet and exercise regime.
The 64-year-old said that instead of hitting the gym, she prefers outdoor activities to help her stay fit. The star added that she doesn't let herself go and wants her body to be as firm and toned as possible.
"My exercise for the day is walking down to the sea with the dogs. There are some steep hills so that gives me a pretty good lower-body workout. I also do yoga classes two or three times a week. I like my yoga slow," she said.
"I like to cook at home. I make healthy dinners for me and my partner, Bernie Greenwood - salad and some protein. Lately I've been thinking of becoming a vegetarian. Post-Christmas I've decided I need to lose around 10lbs too. I don't like any part of me to be squidgy!"
