Susan Sarandon face of Uniqlo
Susan Sarandon has been unveiled as one of the new faces of Uniqlo.
The Oscar-winning actress joins a host of other stars in the Japanese brand's newest fall campaign. The 64-year-old is one of 30 faces of Uniqlo's J+ collection, which is fronted by supermodel Arizona Muse.
In addition to Susan, the ads feature Laura Linney, Darren Criss and Esperanza Spalding to name a few.
The diverse cast showcases the brand's message of inclusion.
"Through the 'Voices of New York' cast we would like to show that individuality is not found in clothing but in people," said Shin Odake, chief executive officer of Uniqlo USA.
Susan is thrilled to be included in the upcoming campaign. The star is a fan of the brand's chic designs.
"I like the simplicity and quality of the clothing - and the colours and the prices," she told WWD.
"I think their customer service and the way they approach the brand and treat their people is really honourable. I was flattered when they asked me to do it."
The ads will debut this week and signal the New York openings of Uniqlo's two largest stores.
