Taylor Momsen signs with model agency
Taylor Momsen is paving her way in the fashion industry with a modelling contract.
The pretty blonde played Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl, with her character a keen lover of fashion.
Now it seems she is following in Jenny's footsteps and joining the industry with a modelling contract.
Taylor is known as the frontwoman of rock band The Pretty Reckless and is famed for her striking looks and slim physique.
Signing with Next means the 19-year-old could score both fashion and cosmetics bookings.
The star is no stranger to striking a pose, having starred in campaigns for British high street store New Look and also Madonna and her daughter Lourdes Leon's Material Girl line.
Taylor also appeared in an advert for John Galliano's Parlez-Moi d'Amour perfume, which featured a Moulin Rouge-style theme and was shot by Ellen von Unwerth.
Also on Next's books are the likes of Rita Ora, Jessica Alba, Lane Del Rey and Alexa Chung, with the branding team specialising in landing big stars collaborations with brands to boost their careers.
"I'm excited about my new relationship with Next Models. Next has great vision, and will be a fantastic partner in furthering both my music and fashion," the star gushed in a statement.
Modelling isn't Taylor's only commitment, as she continues to perform with her band.
The star was also seen shooting a new music promo for track Unlikely in New York City in April.
