Taylor Swift's svelte figure achieved by ballet workouts
Taylor Swift's trainer reveals the star has achieved her toned body and perky bottom through regular dance routines and by practising classical ballet moves.
Taylor Swift's trainer puts her toned new look down to regular ballet-inspired exercise classes.
The Bad Blood singer is a fan of workouts given at Ballet Bodies in Los Angeles, in which a typical class at the fitness studio can involves anything from ballet, jumps, barre work, dance cardio and even trampolining.
Vanessa Dunn, lead trainer at the organisation, explains the classes appeal to 26-year-old Taylor as they suit her dancer's build and allow her to improve upon the basic fundamentals of Pilates in addition to classical ballet.
"Taylor loves the workout because it helps to elongate the body and give that long, lean, toned, dancer's figure," Vanessa told Britain's Grazia magazine.
At the iHeartRadio Music Awards in L.A. in April (16), Taylor looked amazing in a black, sparkly Saint Laurent jumpsuit, with fans noting on various social media sites that her bottom looked particularly perky, with some even accusing her of wearing "butt-pads" to give her a fuller figure. But Vanessa rubbishes the claims, stating that Taylor's toned figure is down to her commitment to regular dance routines and toning classes.
"It gives an all-round fuller looking bum by working and engaging the muscles and helping to reshape it while getting longer, leaner legs," she explained.
Fitness focus isn't the only change Taylor has made recently; the star looked particularly glamorous when she showed up at Coachella to support her DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris, 32, on the first weekend of the California music festival (15-17Apr16). Showing off a new platinum blonde colour and chic shaggy bob-style cut, the star sported an all-black outfit and a classic red lip.
And apparently we may see more of the cool couple hanging out together on relaxed weekend trips.
"A couple of weeks ago, Calvin laid down a few rules: no work on weekends," a source told Grazia. "She's used to writing songs at the weekend but he's asked her to devote them entirely to their relationship. It's not easy for her to juggle her career ambitions with her romance."
