T.I.: Ladies love my look

T.I. created a line for women because he wanted to feel he was "servicing their needs".

The rapper has clothing range Akoo, which specialises in eye-catching street wear.

Previously only catering to males, T.I. has now incorporated some pieces for the girls - and there's a simple reason why.

"[I'm] the ladies' man!" he laughed to stupiddope.com.

"Women kept beating me up man. And I do not like for a woman to tell me I'm [not] servicing their needs. It was only right and a matter of time before I could service all their needs."

T.I. has been having a great year, featuring on Robin Thicke's hit Blurred Lines alongside Pharrell Williams.

Akoo is also celebrating its fifth anniversary and the musician-and-designer always had big ideas for the label.

"Imagine! Of course I imagined it would be this big!" he chuckled.

"No but seriously, it’s a true opportunity that’s being maximised. It’s a blessing. A lot of brands don’t make it five years, especially artist brands, so I’m very appreciative."

The star opened up about what else he has in the pipeline.

It seems he has plenty of creative projects to keep him busy.

"We also have Hustle Gang, our partnership with RP55 and we’re ecstatic about the growth of that brand as well. It’s very collaborative and a direct reflection of our lifestyle," he revealed.
