Tilda Swinton stars in futuristic fashion film
Tilda Swinton is starring in a futuristic fashion film.
The iconic actress can be seen donning a white knee-length lab coat, white gloves and high heels as she looks through the archives of the Musée Galliera in Paris.
Titled The Future Will Last A Very Long Time, the blonde star is seen navigating clinical storerooms holding historic garments in the clip.
Tilda is seen with a coat by Madeleine Vionnet that once belonged to American writer Natalie Clifford Barney.
"Ghostly faces of past wearers of certain pieces, such as Napoléon Bonaparte and Sarah Bernhardt, are to be seen projected onto Swinton's body, as well as the screen behind her," WWD reports.
The piece has been produced by artist and photographer Katerina Jebb and will be shown at the Festival d'Automne à Paris [the Paris Fall Festival in English].
Created during rehearsals for Musée Galliera director Olivier Saillard's latest fashion performance The Impossible Wardrobe, the film will be screened on a loop throughout the event, which is slated to run from September 29 to October 1 at the Palais de Tokyo.
