Vanessa Hudgens natural for Bongo

Vanessa Hudgens is "proud" of her unretouched Bongo photos.

The 25-year-old returns to her role as the face of the label in its Fall 14 ads, wearing cute ensembles such as a black and white patterned top and matching printed skirt. Shot by photographer Marley Kate, each of the snaps have been left natural to show off the actress' flawless complexion and enviable figure.

Vanessa is pleased about this approach, and hopes the photos encourage young girls not to distort themselves to look attractive.

“The clothes make me feel carefree and confident, which is why I love that the final ad images are unretouched. It’s so important for girls to remember that real beauty shines from within, and I’m so proud that Bongo is choosing to send such as positive message with this campaign,” she explained in a statement.

She shared one of the pictures, wearing the outfit described above, on her Instagram account. The blonde star was keen to get the message of how the pictures were untouched across.

"It's about to get REAL real. Peep my all natural campaign for BONGO! Follow @bongojeans for more pics. #BongoGetsReal (sic)" she captioned the photo.

Vanessa's involvement with the brand follows in the footsteps of big names such as Nicole Richie, Lucy Hale and Kim Kardashian.

Dari Marder, chief marketing officer of Iconix Brand Group who take care of Bongo, believes the actress was the perfect choice for this new outlook.
