Vanessa Hudgens 'on loneliness diet'
Vanessa Hudgens' new figure is apparently the result of a loneliness exercise regime.
The actress has displayed a slimmer figure than usual while promoting her new movie The Frozen Ground in the UK.
Friends say Vanessa has been doing kickboxing, Pilates and cardio for up to two hours a day, six days a week, to deal with being apart from her actor boyfriend Austin Butler.
"She loves Austin, but they seem to be more off than on these days as their careers keep the apart so often. She's thrown herself into an exercise routine as she says it keeps her from feeling so upset and keeps her mind off her relationship problems," a friend told UK magazine Closer. "Vanessa does an hour of spinning before doing an hour of Pilates or kickboxing, five or six days a week. She does want to marry and have kids, but working constantly makes any relationship very hard."
Insiders believe Vanessa has dropped at least one dress size taking her from a UK size 8 to a UK size 6. As well as upping her exercise as a way to combat isolation from Austin, Vanessa has also become stricter with her diet. The Spring Breakers star gave up junk food several years ago and lives on a 'Hollywood' meal plan consisting of egg-white omelettes, steamed vegetables, lean meat and fish.
The 24-year-old actress has recently made headlines with her style. Vanessa rocked a boho-glam look at Comic-Con. Among her top style statements was an all-white ensemble consisting of a maxi skirt and a cropped top. The sleek look is a chicer style for Vanessa, who is known for her beach waves and jumpsuits.
