Vanessa Hudgens has revealed her top style tips for Coachella, insisting the world-famous music festival is the perfect place to take fashion risks.

The 26-year-old actress has been a regular fixture at the world-famous music festival for the past few years. But this year, her commitments with Broadway show Gigi mean she will have to miss the annual event.

Despite her absence, Vanessa took to her Tumblr page on Wednesday to share her tips for being sexy and stylish at the festival.

“While you are out shopping, remember to take risks! Be that girl you swoon over,” Vanessa wrote underneath a montage of her best Coachella looks. “Be the girl you want to be. Don’t be afraid to take risks. Go for it. Print on print, big head piece, sequin, show some skin… Whatever you fantasise about. Go for it!!!!!”

But while Vanessa was eager to help her fans be as stylish as possible, she was also keen to offer some tips about being safe. And whether it’s sunny, rainy or windy, Vanessa had outfit options for every occasion.

“+SIDE NOTE+ Be prepared for the weather,” she continued. “It’s hot during the day and cool at night. I normally pack a pair of leggings and a jacket or thick kimono to throw on. Nothing fun about being cold. Also bring a fun printed scarf! You can sit on it, wear on your head or drape over you when it gets chilly. And God forbid … if the dust storm comes, wrap it around your face!!”
