Vanessa Hudgens unveils bob hairstyle at Billboard Music Awards

Vanessa Hudgens unveiled a chic new bob hairstyle at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.
The singer and actress hosted the music event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night (21May17) alongside rapper Ludacris, and looked gorgeous as she stepped out on the red carpet in a soft pink Marchesa dress with bow details, as well as Jimmy Choo sandals and jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz.
However, all eyes were on her hair, with Vanessa rocking a soft bob look after lopping off her signature brunette tresses a few days ago. For the look, hairstylist Chad Wood told PeopleStyle that he wanted to reference "feminine, French bobs", and create a structured style which would hold up over the course of the show.
To begin he spritzed TONI&GUY Heat Protection Mist and Leave In Conditioner over her damp strands before rough drying her hair and spraying in some of TONI&GUY Sea Salt Texturizing Spray for added volume at the roots. The hair expert then proceeded to dry her hair with a round brush and then used a straight barrel styling wand to create her curls, before brushing through the waves and misting on some hairspray.
"I like going off Vanessa's energy and then creating magic. She is so positive - and fun - it makes me more creative," said Chris of creating the hairstyle.
Meanwhile, Vanessa went through several other wardrobe changes during the glitzy event.
The 28-year-old kicked off the show in a black and white sequined gown, where she unleashed her inner diva while giving a short rendition of Celine Dion's hit song The Power of Love.
Vanessa also put her amazing abs on display when she dressed up in a silver two-piece outfit to pay homage to Cher, who was presented with the Icon Award at the bash.
