Vanessa Hudgens wows in metallics at the Creative Arts Emmys
Grease Live! star Vanessa Hudgens cleaned up in the style stakes at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday night (11Sep16).
Vanessa Hudgens wowed in shimmering metallics when she hit the red carpet at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The American actress was right on trend when she attended the star-studded gala held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday night (11Sep16) in Los Angeles, opting for a heavily pleated Maria Lucia Hohan gown in a dull gold colour with side cutouts.
Vanessa chose to complement her look with matching Stuart Weitzman heels, Jacquie Aiche rings and an Edie Parker clutch bag.
The 27-year-old was also spotted having a red carpet reunion with her Grease Live! co-star Julianne Hough, who looked beautiful in a sheer white Zuhair Murad dress with floral detailing, which gave just a glimpse of skin. With her platinum blonde hair bundled into a tight bun for the evening, Julianne added edge by opting for a blood red lipstick which matched her maroon Monique Lhuillier clutch.
Not only did the pair nail the style stakes, but they also took home the award for Best Special Class Program for Fox. The special beat out the 2016 Golden Globe Awards, the 2016 Oscars, the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show and the 2015 Tony Awards.
Another A-lister to steal the limelight at the awards bash was Heidi Klum, who smouldered in a glimmering strapless violet metallic gown with mermaid-style skirt which showed off her svelte physique to great effect. The German model, who was nominated for Emmys for both co-hosting and executive producing reality TV show Project Runway, kept all attention on her gown by keeping accessorising to a minimum and wearing her blonde hair straight and free.
Elsewhere, Lake Bell strutted her stuff at the awards ceremony in a beautiful layered silver gown with beaded fringing. Standing still, the dress showed just the tiniest bit of skin through mesh fabric across her shoulders and decolletage.
Unfortunately, the design of the star's ensemble meant that when she moved the fringing would fly up, exposing her underwear – proving why it’s crucial to have a practice run before hitting the red carpet.
