VB's experimental style

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham isn't married to one look, says her hair stylist.

Ken's been tending to Victoria's mane for the past seven years and he loves that she's more than happy to experiment with different looks.

The hairdresser to the stars has also worked with Jessica Biel, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez.

"Victoria Beckham is never married to one look, she likes her hair to evolve with her fashion. She lives in the moment and never gets too attached to one style," Ken told neverunderdressed.com.

Ken likes it best when Victoria wears her hair up, swept off her face.

And the LA based hair stylist doesn't hesitate when picking out the favourite look he's styled for 39-year-old fashion designer.

"The hair I did for Victoria at the Viva [Forever!] premiere in December 2012 is one of the best, best looks for her hair. It looked as though I hadn't even done anything to it, like she'd done it herself," he explained of the messy chignon.

Styles that look effortless are the ones that take the most time says Ken, but he has a strict rule on how long is spent styling someone's hair.

"I always take 30 minutes or less with hair. Never longer," he said.

His relationship with Victoria extends to more than just her hair stylist, with the pair becoming close friends too.

Ken was by her side when she picked up the Special Contribution to British Fashion prize at this week's Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards.

"So proud to support my dear friend @victoriabeckham for her contribution to fashion @BazaarUK Awards! X (sic)" Ken tweeted next to a picture of the pair at the ceremony.
